Archaeological building recording

bauforschung_kl.jpg

Renovation, rebuilding or demolition cause serious damage to historic buildings but can also revile a new inside into the building development of structures, cities and landscapes.

Archaeological building recording includes on the one side the documentation of cultural-historical material, on the other side their preservation, because on the results of the recording, specific restoration concepts can be carried out.

We offer:

  • A competent archaeological supervision of different kind of building and rebuilding in existing buildings
  • A general description of the masonry, deathshores, roof truss, et cetera
  • Masonry analysis and mapping
  • Rescue and detailed examination of deathshores, scaffolding holes, et cetera
  • Modern documentation techniques such as tachymeter, digital photography, retification
