The aim of a research excavation is to examine a specific archaeological question and to focus on a previous defined question.

Most important to a research excavation is interdisciplinary, the use of up-to-date technology and modern archaeological techniques.

 

We offer:

  • Interdisciplinary, using existing and new contacts to different co-operation partners
  • Expertise in archaeological questions and an efficient accomplishment of the research projects
  • Use of the latest techniques, adequate equipment and regular updates of soft- and hardware
  • Linking up and interlinking of recently gained data to existing systems, such as tophographical survey data, GIS data, CAD, databanks
  • Presentations of the archaeological research results
  • Protection and restoration of the historic-cultural inventory
